The Pinterest Creator Fund is an initiative that aims to inspire and foster creative talent. The four-week workshop includes a jam-packed agenda with hands-on training to help creators succeed on Pinterest.

The program includes personalized consulting, a financial grant for content creation, and ad credits. It also involves in-depth discussions on topics such as Idea Pins and how to leverage Pinterest trends and measure campaign success.

Who Is in the Pinterest Creator Fund?

There are eight people in the first cohort of the Pinterest Creator Fund. The platform is looking to grow the number of creators by 10 with their second cohort.

Results of the Pinterest Creator Fund Program

Current members speak highly of the Creator Fund results. On average, Fund creators saw 2.9x more Idea Pin impressions. Monthly viewers increased by 72%, and combined, the eight creators gained over 24,000 followers.

The initiative helps to grow the creator’s audience and provides financial assistance to boost the quality of content produced. It also helps creators convert their content into cash flow.

Applying for the Pinterest Creator Fund

Pinterest encourages creators to apply for the supportive community when the next round of applications becomes available.

There are a few eligibility requirements that may differ from one cohort to another. For example, the applicant must come from a specific background, and their content niche must fit the cohort’s focus.

Currently, the Pinterest Creators Fund is opening up to non-U.S. creators, such as Brazil.  If eligible, fill out an application with Pinterest once applications open, and hope for the best during the selection process.

Understanding Pinterest Creator Rewards Program

The Pinterest Creator Reward Program offers a different way to get paid on Pinterest by creating original monthly Idea Pins in response to monthly goals set by Pinterest.

To become eligible, a creator must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 250 followers
  • Minimum 150 saves of your published Pins in the last 30 days
  • Over 18 years old
  • US creator living in the US
  • Use the Pinterest app on your mobile phone
  • Have created 3 Idea Pins in the last 30 days
  • Create original content

If you qualify with a business account, you will notice a “Get started” button on your account. From here, you can make money by meeting Pinterest’s prompted goal each month.

The program is still in its infancy and rolling out in small groups. At the start, creators could earn as much as $2,000 per goal, but this amount has stabilized to between $200 and $700 each. Ready to make money? Keep an eye on prompts and submit an Idea Pin timeously.
