Our focus client this month is a Liquor and Wine eCommerce shop. They wanted to focus on consistent engagement increases and growing their website traffic. They were also interested in linking their email campaigns to their Pins.

Our focus for this client was having a strong strategy that contributed to his consistent growth.
We first started by creating branded pins designs for a cohesive look and feel for the profile page, to improve brand awareness, and for the client to use with their email campaigns.
Next, we added Idea Pins to his strategy. We have found that this helps improve engagement growth per Pinterest’s new best practices.
We also focused on weekly fresh pin designs, engagement in TailWind communities, using video pins, and following other targeted accounts. Together, all these elements led to increased engagement, traffic, and sales.
The engagement for this client over the last 60 days doubled and their Pinterest sessions (aka traffic) increased as well.
The image below shows the engagement rate since starting with SimplyPintastic. Like many clients, when a new strategy is introduced to their account (or to an account that’s been inactive) there is usually a huge boost, then it levels out more consistently over time.
We are constantly adapting to the creative changes of Pinterest. Including Idea Pins in the strategy led to significant traffic growth from these pins.
