In this post, I’m going to dive into two specific ways to plan out your content strategy so that you will get people engaged and coming back for more. Whether it’s Facebook Lives or any other way your followers consume your content.

There are two ways for you to create stellar content that captivates your audience. Create a content strategy that will stop them from scrolling their timelines looking for other things, but instead having them focus on what you have to offer. 

A lot of people struggle with content strategy because they feel like they’re saying the same thing over and over again. Or, they’re just not able to come up with those catchy titles and topics that will attract the audience they want. There is nothing worse than creating all this content, planning it out and then realizing that you’re attracting the wrong type of audience. 

 

 

Searching For Viral Content

My first tip in creating content that attracts customers is to search for viral content. Let’s use the Facebook messenger bot as a topic example. The first thing I will do is head over to Pinterest and search for Facebook Messenger bots in the search bar. The top pins for Facebook messenger bots will show up first. I will look through those top pins to determine what topics my audience would be interested in. 

While reviewing the pins, I see one that says “How to Grow Your Email List with a Facebook Messenger Bot” with 114 repins. I know my audience would love to know more about building their email lists and the topic has been repinned 114 times which means it is a fairly popular topic. I want to play off of that. I will talk the phrases, “email list” and “Facebook messenger bot” and playoff that for tip #2. 

Finding The Right Titles

Looking for the right titles for your blog posts can be frustrating. Using the Facebook Messenger Bot as an example, I use a website called Fat Joe. Fat Joe allows you to create paid backlinks. Fat joe also offers a free tool called a blog title generator which can be accessed in the top menu bar on the homepage under SEO tools. The blog title generator is really cool because it will actually give you   and emotion grabbing titles. 

So in the blog title generator, I will type in “email lists and messenger bots” and see what they come up with. Several blog title ideas include: 

  • The most hilarious complaints we’ve heard about the email list and messenger bots
  • An email list and messenger, your bot success story, You’ll never believe

The second title could be an amazing one. However, I wouldn’t have to use that exact title. I could say “A messenger bot success story you’ll never believe that grew my email list” or “A messenger bot used to grow an email list success story that you’ll never believe”.  And it kind of pulls off that emotion where people are like, “Oh my gosh, why wouldn’t I believe it?”

Another example from the title generator was, “Look at three common reasons why your email list and messenger bots are not working and how to fix it”. That would be an amazing topic. Another example blog title, “15 reasons why you shouldn’t ignore messenger bots for growing your email list”. I could say, “Five reasons, you shouldn’t ignore your messenger bots to grow your email list”. So I’m not taking the titles off the generator verbatim. What I’m doing is I’m using the key phrases from the top pins on Pinterest and that’s getting the creative juices going.

This is the exact strategy I use when coming up with blog title ideas and I usually sit and do this in about an hour’s time. So once I have a title idea, I’m ready to go and then I move on to the next one. 

This strategy is attractive to clientele and my audience because I’m sparking an emotional response through my blog title. I do that by resolving something that they’re struggling with, or I’m taking away a pain that they have in their business with my information. Once I’ve invoked that kind of emotional response, they’re going to come to my content, and then I’m going to be able to convert them from there.
